Caring for your hat
Keep felt, straw and knits looking their best for years.
Felt hats
Brush in an anti-clockwise direction with a soft hat brush to lift dust. If your hat gets wet, shake off excess water, stuff the crown with tissue and let it dry naturally away from heat — never on a radiator.
Straw & Panama hats
Handle by the brim rather than pinching the crown, which can crack the straw over time. Store upside down or on a hat stand, out of direct sunlight.
Knitwear
Hand wash cool with a wool detergent, reshape and dry flat.
Storage
Keep hats in their box or on a hook with plenty of space. A crown support helps structured hats keep their shape.
